Borderlands is arguably the best shoot and loot game ever created. The humor is great, the artwork is unique, and the action is superb. The DLCs just add to the irreverent style. Because of all that I was really looking forward to a Game of the Year edition and having a hardcopy of all content on disc. In my opinion, Gearbox has made a huge mistake by only including vouchers for the DLCs. Instead of getting repeat business from customers who already own BL looking for all content on disc, this GOTY edition will appeal only to folks whove never played or who desperately want the included map. Im quite certain there are many out there like me who want what FO3 GOTY gave us. Im extremely disappointed with Gearbox; I was hoping theyd give their loyal fans and customers a GOTY edition worthy of our hard earned dollars.

It appears that GearBox and 2K have listened to the fans and are now providing the 4 expansions on the GOTY disc as opposed to just the previous DLC vouchers. Word is still out on how packaging might change but hopefully there will be a way to distinguish this latest edition. I think its fantastic that these two companies have listened to the fans and responded. That is incredibly rare and I will continue to strongly support both GB and 2K in their future endeavors.
